The GHS pictograms are required elements of the GHS label. They provide a visual method for quickly communicating a chemical’s hazards, helping to inform and protect workers as they transport, store and use chemical products.
In almost all GHS countries, the applicable pictograms must appear in a red diamond, and no empty red diamonds may appear on a label. GHS includes specific guidance about when and how certain pictograms should be used with one another.
The BarTender GHS sample label template incorporates these business rules. They are built in so that our customers can easily create compliant labels.
