Major Updates to Marketing Materials

Although a lot of new marketing material accompanied the release of BarTender 8.0, not all changes were finished by launch time. The completed updates are now available at at

BarTender Table of Contents page.

The following summary shows you where to go to get the latest information on which BarTender edition is best for you and your customers.

New "Full Details" Brochure

The PDF of the Full Details brochure available online has been completely updated to reflect the release of the Enterprise Print Server edition. The printed version of the brochure is still from the summer of 2006. A new, updated printing is planned for early summer 2007.

Separate "Enterprise Print Server" Brochure

The content of this brochure is now included in the updated "Full Details" brochure now available online. However, this separate Enterprise Print Server brochure is available both online and in printed form.

Dedicated "Integration" Web Page

We offer a huge variety of promotional and technical material about integrating BarTender with other software. Now you can refer to a single web page that links to all of the available information.

Odds & Ends

Updates from Version 6.0
to end June 30th, 2007

With the recent release of BarTender version 8.0, the 25% discount available for users to update from versions 6.0 - 6.2 to the latest BarTender is set to expire. (Version 6 stopped shipping in 2002.) As of July 1st, 2007, only users of 7.0 or higher will be eligible for discounts when updating. Please call your reseller or Seagull Scientific for details.

Many New and Updated White Papers

With the release of BarTender 8.0, we updated numerous existing white papers and added a few new ones. To help you locate your desired topics more easily, the white papers have been reorganized and are now preceded by a nice, new table of contents.

Updated "Quick Summary" Brochure

The main purpose of this heavily-condensed brochure is to allow for cost-effective translation and printing of our BarTender marketing material in 22 languages. The updated English version is available online, but the printed version is (at this time) only available in limited quantities. Printed versions of most of the older translated Quick Summary brochures are still available, but they do not contain information on RFID, Enterprise Print Server, or BarTender version 8.0. These previously-translated versions are still available on our web site.

Translations of the Latest "Quick Summaries" are in Process

We have received back the new translations of our updated Quick Summary brochures and they are currently being checked by our staff and some business partners. The first of these newly translated brochures should be available in printed form in June. In the meantime, the previously-translated versions are still available on our web site.
