Seagull Website Now Viewable in Multiple Languages

BarTender has long supported multiple languages. And we've had translated "Quick Summary" brochures available on our web site and in printed form since Spring of 2003. And now, finally, even our web site supports a variety of languages!

Visitors to www.seagullscientific.com now enter the site with the option to select a preferred language.

Frankly, we considered the site way too big to translate in its entirety (and, of course, this newsletter is only in English). However, we have been careful to translate the pages that are most essential to typical customer functions. This includes the main "Products" page, as well as key Driver and download pages. Visitors can perform the following critical functions without having to read any English:

• Read an introduction to BarTender and Drivers by Seagull.
• Find and download a full-working trial edition of BarTender.
• Find and download Drivers by Seagull.
• Find and view or download any of the already-translated "Quick Summary" brochures.
• See a brief summary of some other available (still English) pages.

We are hopeful that we've addressed the basic needs of over 90% of our non-English-speaking visitors. Nonetheless, we anticipate gradually translating additional portions of our web site over time. (All pages are accessible to foreign-language visitors, with the non-translated pages still displayed in English.)

More Languages on the Way!
Currently, we support the languages listed above (with the language name displayed in the appropriate native language, rather than English). In addition, Czech and two versions of Portuguese are planned for the near future. Later this Spring, we expect to add Japanese and two versions of Chinese. And even more languages are planned thereafter!
