Seagull Honored as "Top 25"
Supply Chain Company

On November 7, 2002, we at Seagull were informed by the editors of Frontline Solutions magazine of our selection as a "Top 25" company by a combined group of their readers and an industry consortium.

In addition, Seagull was one of only three companies selected as "Head of Class" in the category of Printing. We should emphasize that this didn't refer to just printing software, but label printing in general. When you consider that we were listed right next to Zebra, the largest manufacturer of label printers in the world, it is no exaggeration to say that we are literally in very good company.

The full survey was not limited to just software companies or even auto ID companies. Rather, the broader category of "supply chain" companies was evaluated, which incorporates a far broader group of industry leaders representing a variety of products and technologies.

Our official notification from Frontline reads:

Your selection to this elite group demonstrates the high regard of your customers and business partners. Your company was chosen by the votes of enterprise users and resellers who subscribe to Frontline Solutions magazine, along with input from Frontline Solutions editors and three leading industry analysts—AMR Research, Venture Development, and ARC Advisory Group. Placement in the Top 25 requires both superior products and the highest standards of customer service.

We see this recognition as especially powerful for a number of reasons: One is that the reader portion of the poll was based on large system ("enterprise") users and resellers. We see this as a strong indication that our heavy investment in new enterprise integration capabilities for our BarTender software is paying off.

Next, as stated in the notification, we note that the survey included feedback from three industry analyst groups: AMR Research, Venture Development and ARC Advisory Group. These are companies that work with and get their information directly from industry, rather than from the magazine itself.

Finally, we can't overlook the fact that were selected by the Frontline editors themselves, the managing staff of a publication recognized around the world as the largest and most authoritative periodical on auto ID and supply chain products.

Given the stature some of the companies and brand names Seagull has been grouped with, we are most proud of our "Top 25" and "Head of Class" recognition.
