BarTender Service Releases
BarTender service releases and minor updates are always free and usually notated
as follows:
- Service Release: A typical service release for a version such as
9.0 would be notated as 9.0 SR1.
- Minor Update: A typical minor update to a version such as 9.0 would
be 9.01. (Note that the first two digits stayed the same
and only a third digit changed.)

Service Releases for Older BarTender Versions
If you have a version of BarTender where the leftmost two digits of your
version number do not match the latest available version number, then getting
the latest version of BarTender is a paid version upgrade. (For more
information, please visit our How to Upgrade
web page.)
However, users of older software can always update for free to the latest service
release available for their version of BarTender. Simply click on
the appropriate link below to read about and/or download the appropriate
