Streamlining the Support Process 

You Must Properly Register Your Software

You must register BarTender to receive Technical Support. You can register quickly and easily at:

http://www.seagullscientific.com/SeagullApps/Registration.aspx

Other Required Information

Even though you are registered, you will be asked on the phone for some or all of the following information:

  • Your full name.
  • Your company name.
  • Your phone number, with extension.
  • Description of your Seagull product, including Product Name, Edition, Version #, and Build # (see the About option in your Help menu).
  • Your operating system (if Windows NT, please include the Service Pack #). Make and model of your printer (including print resolution).
  • The Version # and Build # of your Seagull Windows printer driver
  • Description of the problem you are experiencing, including any error messages and corrective steps you may already have attempted.
  • When getting tech support by e-mail, please attach a copy of your BarTender label format to your initial e-mail.
  • If you are having a problem reading from a database, receiving a representative portion of your database can be very helpful.
