Job Overview

We are seeking an ambitious web developer with a successful track record in designing, building, and maintaining corporate internet and intranet web sites. As our Web Programmer, you will use the Microsoft .NET platform to manage and enhance our VB.NET/C#/SQL/ASP.NET based site and provide dynamic web content to our audience. You will work directly with our Director of Marketing department to ensure that our company’s web site is tops in the industry. In addition, you may be “borrowed” on occasion by our Product Development group for special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the HTML and VB.NET code for the company website
  • Work with Marketing Director to define and redefine company website requirements
  • Coordinate with our Graphic Designers as necessary to improve look and feel
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance on testing
  • Develop, maintain, and assist with the development of other in-house applications
  • Develop C# applications
  • Maintain VBA applications
  • Design and maintain database schema
  • Write SQL queries and stored procedures

Experience and Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience with HTML
  • At least 2 years of VB.NET or C# and ASP.NET work experience
  • Familiarity with relational databases, such as MS-SQL server, and SQL (or T-SQL) language
  • Good working knowledge of XML
  • Ability to manage mid to large size projects independently
