Version 9.0 of our BarTender label and RFID software is Seagull's biggest release in over ten years. New modules and features include:

  • New BarTender System Database lets you log more detailed print job information and be better prepared for high-security audits.
  • History Explorer provides easy, highly flexible navigation and viewing of past print jobs.
  • Reprint Console lets you easily replace lost or damaged labels, even if the original label data is no longer readily available.
  • New ".NET" software development kits (SDKs) allow C# and VB.NET developers to add BarTender label printing functionality to other programs more quickly than is possible using Active X Automation directly.

Marketing Support

  • The contents of the "Full Details" brochure available on-line has been updated for BarTender version 9. However, the printed version has not yet been updated. Prior to printing the new "Full Details" brochure, the "look and feel" will be updated to be similar to the "Quick Summary" brochures. (See next item.)
  • The condensed 'Quick Summary' brochure has a brand new look! The brand new "Quick Summary" brochures for version 9 of BarTender are currently available in both printed and downloadable form for 11 of our supported languages (including English).  These new brochures contain more detail than past versions and the appearance has been completely updated to a new, very colorful and attractive style.  Update of the remaining 12 of our 23 languages is in process.
  • In the coming months, selected portions of the What's New document will be expanded upon in more detailed White Papers to be published.
  • The downloadable Trial Edition was updated to version 9.0 at the time of release.
